Privacy notice
Last updated: 10 October 2026
This notice explains how Dress Up Battle (Cebu Business Park, Cebu City) handles the information you give us on this recruitment website when you apply for work or register as a referral partner.
By ticking the consent box on a form, you agree to us using your information as described here.
What we collect
If you apply for work:
- Full name
- Philippine mobile number
- 18+ confirmation
- Neighborhood or area and availability
- TikTok username or link (optional)
- Preferred contact method (Messenger, TikTok, or phone)
- The referral link you used, if you applied through a referral partner
If you register as a referral partner:
- Name and Philippine mobile number
- GCash number (it can be the same as your mobile number)
- Neighborhood (optional)
- Kind of business (optional)
- Messenger contact and TikTok username (optional) and preferred contact method
If you message our Facebook Page through Messenger, we also keep:
- Your Messenger name and the Page-scoped ID (PSID) that Meta gives you for our Page
- The messages you send us and our replies, including the message with your link code
- When you last messaged us, so we know when Messenger allows us to send you an update
- Which application or referral partner record your conversation is linked to, and who linked it
- A record of the updates we sent you on Messenger and whether Messenger reported them delivered
Records our staff keep during recruitment:
- Staff notes, contact history, and follow-up dates
- Paid trial schedules and the shifts you worked, including whether staff verified them
- For referral partners: which applicants you referred, reward decisions, and manual GCash payments (amount, date, and GCash reference)
We do not ask for ID uploads, photos, or your date of birth on this website. Our staff check age and identity privately before a paid on-camera trial. We do not need an email address and we do not send SMS codes.
The website uses a secure cookie to keep staff, referral partners, and applicants who open their private status link signed in. Our server may also briefly use your IP address to block abuse, such as repeated automated form submissions. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
Messenger, link codes, and private links
After you apply or register, we show you a link code (it starts with DUB-) and a button that opens our Facebook Page in Messenger with a message that contains the code. Sending that message is your choice. When you send it, we link your Messenger conversation to your application or referral partner record so our team knows who you are. A link code works once and expires after 24 hours. It only connects the conversation that sends it and does not open any of your information by itself.
We use respond.io, a business messaging inbox, to answer our Page's Messenger conversations. Once your conversation is linked, we copy a short summary of your record into your contact in respond.io and keep it up to date:
- For applicants: your application stage, your paid trial date and status, and your private status link
- For referral partners: counts of your referred applicants by broad status, your reward and payment totals, and your private dashboard link
Our staff, and an automated assistant in our inbox, use this summary to answer your questions about your own application or referrals. You can ask to talk to a person at any time. The assistant cannot schedule, approve, or reject anything, and it never shares another person's information.
We may send you Messenger updates about your application (for example, that we received it or that your paid trial is scheduled, changed, or coming up) and, for referral partners, about qualified referrals, approved rewards, and recorded GCash payments. Outside Messenger's 24-hour reply window we only send updates that Meta has approved as account or appointment updates, never promotions. If an update cannot be sent, it is flagged for our staff to follow up.
Your private status link (for applicants) or private dashboard link (for referral partners) is shown once on the website and may also be shared in your linked Messenger conversation. Anyone who has the link can open the page, so keep it private. Our staff can replace it with a new link, which stops the old one from working.
Why we use it
- To contact you about your application or referrals, through your preferred method or our Facebook Page on Messenger
- To link your Messenger conversation to your record, keep your status there up to date, and send you updates about your application or referrals
- To screen applicants and arrange paid trials and shifts
- To detect repeat applications and keep one record per person
- To credit referrals to the right partner and prevent self-referrals or duplicate claims
- To check reward eligibility and pay approved referral rewards manually through GCash
- To keep accurate payment records and resolve disputes
- To keep the website and your private links secure
We use your mobile number for contact, duplicate checks, GCash payment records where they apply, and as a fallback contact. If you apply or register again with the same mobile number, we move your linked Messenger conversation to your newest record. We never link a conversation using your mobile number alone.
Who can see it
Only authorized Dress Up Battle staff can see your full contact details and records, and only through the private staff workspace.
Outside those staff views, the website never shows another person's phone number or GCash number. Referral partners see only counts of their referred applicants by broad status. They never see applicants' phone numbers or staff notes.
In our Messenger inbox, staff see your conversation and the summary of your own record described above. A referral partner's summary contains counts and totals only, never the names or details of the applicants they referred.
We do not sell your information. Our hosting provider stores the website data on our behalf. respond.io stores our Messenger conversations and the contact summaries on our behalf. Messenger is run by Meta, so the messages you exchange with our Page also pass through Meta and are handled under Meta's own terms and privacy policy. We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it for recruitment: while your application is being considered, while you work with us, or while you are a referral partner.
Records linked to a referral reward or a GCash payment are kept as long as we need them for legitimate recordkeeping, such as proving that a reward was approved and paid correctly.
Link codes expire 24 hours after we issue them. Your Messenger conversation and contact summary stay in our respond.io inbox while we need them for recruitment, like the rest of your records.
When we no longer need your information, we delete it.
Access, correction, and deletion
- You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
- If something is wrong or out of date, you can ask us to correct it.
- You can ask us to delete your records.
- You can ask us to unlink your Messenger conversation from your record and stop sending you Messenger updates.
- You can withdraw your application at any time.
When we delete your records, we also unlink your Messenger conversation and can delete your contact and conversation history from our respond.io inbox. Messages you sent also stay in your own Messenger app and with Meta, which we cannot delete for you.
Before we act on a request, our staff check your identity using our existing records and the contact details we already have. Knowing a mobile or GCash number alone is not enough.
Our staff make corrections and deletions directly in our records, and we keep a log of those changes. Some records, such as referral rewards and GCash payments, may need to be kept for legitimate recordkeeping. If we cannot delete something, we will tell you what we have to keep and why.
If you have a privacy concern we have not resolved, you can also contact the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines.
